Voices
Well known in southwest Florida for their musical compatibility and vocal affinity, Billy Day and Cliff Randi have been playing music together for over 10 years. Having both grown up in the late 70’s and early 80’s, they both consider the music of Hall and Oates to be a big part of their formative years, so the choice to create O2H was an easy one.

Cleverly named for the fact that Randi, who is the primary singer, resembles John Oates, while Day, who plays keyboards and sings backup and a few leads, more closely resembles Daryl Hall. The tribute tale is that, after all his years in the background, John Oates has finally stepped into the spotlight and taken over. He will no longer be silent in the background.
Beauty on a back street
Day and Randi have scoured the deepest recesses of southwest Florida and beyond to assemble the finest, most talented and versatile musicians to accompany them. Together, they lovingly recreate the music of Hall & Oates with precision and respect, taking care to emulate the album sound, while sprinkling in some of the live energy that Hall and Oates were well known for.

Hailing from Bethel, CT, Randi made his vocal debut at the age of 14, eventually winding up with some of the last great hairbands into the 90’s. Unwilling to rap, yell or sing grunge, he became a singer without a song, until a drummer friend invited him to join a wedding band. It was within those confines that Randi learned to widen his vocal capabilities, extend his range and become a much more versatile singer. Fast forward many years, Randi relocated his family to Venice, FL – where he quickly became the singer of Southwest Florida’s Favorite Arena Rock band, Maiden Cane. Immediately, he and keyboard player, Billy Day, became the best of friends, and the two started on a long road of musical comradery. Their efforts included running Venice’s legendary music store, Troll Music, starting up a thriving music lesson program that now has over 300 students and building a solid reputation as 2 of the top musicians in the area.
